President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto whose relationship has been on the rocks could reunite ahead of the 2022 elections.
This is according to Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru who says that there is possible reunion between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
Cate Waruguru said that there are ongoing talks behind the scenes to reunite President Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto.
“Some works are going on behind the cameras. People should wait for more surprises. There is a truce that is likely to happen between President Uhuru and his Deputy Ruto,” She said in an interview with Tuko.
While talking about the same, Waruguru is confident that the ongoing wrangles in Jubilee will not last long as the President and his deputy will soon burry their difference.
Waruguru also warns that once there is a truce between the president and his deputy, a section of politicians will be casualties while others will be used to damage that truce.
“Once that happens, there are politicians who will be casualties while others will be used as collateral damage of that truce,” Waruguru said.
Waruguru said that the problem ailing this country, is deeply inherited from ODM.
“The problem ailing this country is deeply inherited from ODM, the origin of William Ruto and his political father Baba. If those issues are sorted, there are three major forces: Uhuru, Ruto and Raila Odinga,” she said.
This comes few days after Uhuru promised to visit Ruto after the Madaraka Day.
“Pongezi ten asana… You will tell them… nitawaona nikitoka Kisumu,” Uhuru told Ruto when he was about to leave Parliament buildings on Thursday after National Prayer Breakfast.
The President is currently in Nyanza launching various projects before leading the country in the June 1 Madaraka Day celebrations.
On the other hand, Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who is Ruto’s political enemy appears to be enjoying his relationship with President Uhuru. He occasionally flies in military choppers and accorded state security.
