Chris Kirubi has been famously known as a transforming industrialist and entrepreneur.
But according to emerging details, he played important roles in politics and maybe the government.
There are people who have been said to be running the Kenyan politics behind the scenes Kirubi also played crucial roles behind the cameras.
According to Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Chris Kirubi convinced him to enter a deal with Former President Mwai Kibaki after the disputed 2017 elections.

Raila Odinga who was speaking during the memorial service of the late mogul at Faith Evangelistic Ministry in Karen in Nairobi stated that Kirubi approached him with another man to convince to meet Kibaki.
However, ODM leader did not reveal the name of the other person who accompanied Kirubi to him.
“Among the people who approached me to have a dialogue was Chris Kirubi, the other one I cannot reveal,” Raila stated.
After the two convinced Raila the meeting was arranged between the then political competitors. The meeting was held at Sagana.
“Arrangement were made for this meeting in Sagana, eventually an agreement was reached,” Raila revealed.
Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka who was the Vice President during Raila – Kibaki coalition government, also revealed at the service that it was Kirubi who made him the 10th vice president of Kenya.

According to Kalonzo, Chris Kirubi and Peter Munga visited him in his house in 2008 and requested him to save the country.
“Kalonzo, don’t be stupid. You have to rise and save the country,” Kalonzo said.
On her side, Rachel Ruto who was speaking at the memorial service of the deceased businessman, Chris Kirubi who was a born again Christian played crucial roles during his lifetime.
The roles that Kirubi played also captured the attention of Professor Makau Mutua who reacted on tweeter by saying that he didn’t know that Kirubi was running government.
“I didn’t know Chris Kirubi was actually running the Kenya until today. RIP.” Makau tweeted.
Kirubi died on June 14, 2021 after battling with cancer. He died at the age of 80 years.
His burial ceremony which will begin at 11 am is set for Saturday at his Thika farm.
