The search for the deadly female Kenyan cop Caroline Kangogo has taken another twist even as the DCI intensify the hunting of the officer who is believed to be behind the murder of two men between Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5 in Nakuru and Kiambu respectively.
Fresh details now indicate that the special team trailing Ms Kangogo up to now has no solid leads on the whereabouts of the officer who is said to be armed to the teeth and with a high level of shooting skills thus creating more tension. Further information by credible investigators has also revealed that Caroline might be under the protection and in good communication with a section of insiders and members of the police service who have further complicated the detective’s efforts to trace the suspect.
“Fugitive police officer Caroline Jemutai Kangogo could have been involved in shady dealings with fellow police officers and investigators suspect that she is being protected by rogue members of the service,” the Daily Nation reported on Monday.
Ms Kangogo went missing immediately after committing the second act and killing the two men who are said to have had intimate relationships with her in the past. Signals to trace her have borne no fruits with scanty details showing that she has been to Nairobi, Nakuru, Kericho, Kisii Eldoret and Elgeyo Marakwet counties hence putting the lives of her friends and loved ones at risk.
