The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has delivered a shocker to the Wiper parties leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC party chief Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya boss Moses Wetangula ahead of next year’s general election.
Speaking on Wednesday during an exclusive interview hosted by the celebrated Kiss FM radio presenter Jalango on his YouTube show “Bonga Na Jalas”, the fearless Raila’s soldier devised a fight with the former NASA principals over the embroiled money hoarding that dragged the ODM party into the mix.
While responding to Jalango’s contentious question of ODM party’s fraudulent activities that allegedly cobbled the political parties fund of Ksh500,000 from the registrar of political parties , Raila’s longtime confidant revealed that the ODM party received Ksh11,000 and not the aforementioned amount as claimed by Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula.
Sifuna stated that the ODM party was ready to send the Ksh11,000 to the former NASA chiefs so that the implication and blackmail talks against the ODM could come to an end since the other parties cut ties with the ODM to form a new coalition of One Kenya Alliance (OKA).
However, in September 2020 Jubilee and the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) had been allocated a total of Sh236.3 million of the Political Parties Fund cash for the three months to September.
The head of state president Uhuru Kenyatta’s ruling Jubilee party got the lion’s share after the acting Registrar of Political Parties Ann Nderitu allocated it Sh161.1 million while Raila Odinga’s ODM was slated to receive Sh75.2 million.
