Deputy President William Ruto is currently facing the Perceived heavyweight especially after the fierce Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri exited the Hustler Nation camp.
The People’s Empowerment Party Leader Moses Kuria and The Service Party of Kenya chief Mwangi Kiunjuri vowed to form the Mt Kenya region party that they will use to chart for political negotiations with presidential aspirants in 2022 tough race.
While addressing members of the 5th estate yesterday, Thursday, Gatundu South lawmaker informed that the Central Region is destined at forming a regional party that will front the development agendas for the benefit of Wanjiku.
However, Hon Moses Kuria’s sentiments were roughly refuted by the Murang’a senator Hon Irungu Kang’ata who established that they will not fold UDA party’s manifestos to be derailed by a certain clique of individuals for their own political interest.
“There are people who have formed new political parties to represent the Mt Kenya region. From our end, we don’t have a problem with them even though it’s against our wishes. But what I would like to say is that we won’t allow our manifestos as UDA to be brought to waste by some people. They have our blessings as they continue with their journey,” Muranga senator Irungu Kang’ata said on Monday.
At the same time, the Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika’s silence in Tangatanga camp has spiked a series of speculations as this might indirectly reveal her unannounced exit from Hustler Nation camp.
The outspoken Nakuru lawmaker has been missing in action in all UDA crucial events igniting tension in DP Ruto’s Tangatanga house. Hon Susan Kihika was not present during the critical Hustler Nation Parliamentary Group at DP Ruto’s official residence in Karen, Nairobi.
