Demonstrations have rocked in Tushauriane Area in Kayole, Nairobi after the irate residents took it to the streets following the death of a young man who was shot dead by the police officer for allegedly flouting Curfew rules.
The road connecting Masimba and Kayole Junction has been blocked with burning of tyres taking place as the angry residents are pleading justice for the lost life of the young man.
It has been reported that the deceased young man unexpectedly encountered the wrath of law enforcers past 10am and was forced to take off his heels in an attempt to evade the arrest.
However, the furious police whose details remains scanty fired at the escaping young man cutting his life shot. This has catapulted the infuriated crowd of youths to demand justice for the family of the departed young man whose only mistake was to be found outside past Curfew hours.
Tushauriane residents are currently engaging with the police officers in a war battle as this has also occasioned the flank of lobbying teargas canisters in the efforts to disperse the crowd.
This comes barely a week after a similar incident happened in Kianjokoma, Meru after the two middle-aged brothers were allegedly hit by a blurred object on their heads that led to their untimely demise.
The six suspects are already being held behind bars awaiting to be charged in court of Law.
