The weekend was abuzz with a mega exposé from tea master Edgar Obare on filthy wealthy young men in Nairobi who have for years been living large with Kiss Fm’s Jalang’o being forced to defend himself.
The list of the rich guys, many under 40 years who parade money on social media has made many wonder what kind of jobs they have to earn millions to finance their lifestyles.
The names include; Kevin Obia, Babu Owino, the late Kevin Omwenga; Amber Ray’s ex-husband (Zaheer) Don Bosco Gichana, Allan Chesang; Mohammed Noor (Somali Bae), Adan Sonko, Sylvanus Osoro, Oscar Sudi, Steve Mbogo, Betty Kyallo and Ben Gatu among other many flamboyant ‘businessmen’ running around in top Nairobi.
On Monday, Jalang’o took to his morning breakfast show with Kamene Goro to defend his wealth.
“If I was doing this thing called wash wash, I would never be waking up to come here. I would never ever be waking up here.” Said Jalas.
According to Jalang’o most of the claims made by the blogger were assumptions; and tricks of how they wanted to involve him with these named guys simply because he hangs out with them.
“I read. Tried to see how they’re trying to fix me in these stories. How I have taken photos with everybody who’s being accused. How I’m the one being used to keep the money. I’m like eeeh. Aaah nikasema it’s okay.” Argued Jalas.
Tanasha Donna was also exposed as a beneficiary of the infamous Kilimani fraudsters who are behind multi-million fake gold scams and fake money printing business – popularly known as wash wash.
The well-connected fraudsters mostly based in Kilimani live large and parade their lavish lifestyles on social media.
These con artists enjoy the company of beautiful women, party in high-end clubs, and change high-end vehicles like clothes.
