Former Budalangi member of parliament and foreign affairs chief administrative secretary general Ababu Namwamba has finally declared to support deputy Ruto’s presidential bid.
According to Ababu, he vowed not to support politicians whom he referred as story tellers and had nothing on hand to offer Kenyans, he further procrastinated that Kenya needs action oriented leaders, who will help develop the country’s economy.
The former ODM Secretary General said the only person who fits the development bill is non other than deputy Ruto.
“You people of Malaba we have and Teso North don’t entertain the politics of stories, don’t allow people to come here and tell you stories…in Budalangi we have decided we will stand firm with the chief hustler we are not going to leave anyone behind…” Namwamba said.
And even as Namwamba declared support for the DP, the Star Newspaper is reporting that the former lawmaker is facing a rough new year after receiving letters from an investigative agency to explain how he acquired some land in his home town.
It is reported that he has been asked to provide details of how his two firms landed contracts with a county government from the Coast.
His allies are now reading mischief, saying the move was triggered by his support for Ruto.
